First Blog First Thoughts

 

Earlier this spring, I was walking the north woods, looking for emerging garlic mustard plants after the burn.  Of course, the yellow lady slippers and trillium were quite distracting.

I’ve been missing Tom’s Blog since he died in April, 2021.  I of course could never duplicate his keen observations, but lately, I’ve been noticing things at Pleasant Valley that he might well have written about.  Things that stand out for their possible scientific value or for their ordinary magic.

This blog for Pleasant Valley wants to be written.  So I’m going to do my best.
